There are so many styles of wedding dresses: Ball gown, sweetheart, mermaid, etc. What is boho? We all have heard it. Did you know that it was related to hippie fashion? Think of natural fabrics, retro patterns, loose fitting clothing—60s and 70s in mainstream culture--gypsy. Boho or bohemian style represents a liberated lifestyle that actually dates back to the French Revolution when artists were plunged into poverty and so began wearing used and old clothing. Kind of reminiscent of Macklemore’s thrift shop song. Anyway, I love boho-styled wedding dresses. They remind me of freedom to be and and romance. What comes to mind for you?
